Why our clients love us

Of all my travels, I can honestly say Ethiopia is one of my favorite countries - and, it is because of the experience I had with Nahome. He is more than a guide, he is your trusted friend. We spent 9 days together - Axum, Lalibella, Gondar, Addis - and, our time together made a lasting impression that will forever define what it means to be more than just a guide in a country. Rather, a true immersive experience. However you experience Ethiopia with Nahome, you will not be disappointed.

• UNESCO Heritages and Hidden Gems visit

I had the pleasure of taking a half day tour in Addis Ababa at the beginning of December 2022, using the services of Pleasure Ethiopia Tour and Travel. I can say it made the difference. In a few hours, I got to experience a taste of Ethiopian culture, history and art, as well as the modern side of this rich culture.
They identify themselves as the "Land of Origins", and now I know why. The tour guide, Nahome, besides being kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the history and the places we visited (and more), is a person you feel comfortable speaking to, asking questions and sharing experiences. He and his team will accommodate your needs and provide you or your group with a memorable experience. I strongly recommend selecting Pleasure Ethiopia Tour and Travel as your tour operator.

• Half Day Option 3

I just returned from a two-week journey with Pleasure Ethiopia Tours and Travel in Addis Abeba, the Rift Valley, and the Omo Valley. I would warmly recommend their services without any hesitation. The programme was very carefully designed, the drivers were prudent and punctual, the selected hotels were comfortable and well located, the restaurants offered a wide variety of local and international dishes, and all the proposed visits were very interesting and offered highly appreciated contacts with the population.

Nahome Admassu Bekele is a very professional and dedicated guide, always attentive to the needs of his customers and ready to change the programme to respond to their demands. He knows everything about the traditions, culture, and history of his country and explains it in a clear and passionate way. He takes care of all logistic aspects in all discretion and we do not have to care about anything. All we have to do is enjoy every single moment we spend in that wonderful country.

• Experience the Arts of Southern Ethiopia
• Cultural Tours to Omo Valley Tribes of Ethiopia

I had the amazing experience to travel with Pleasure Ethiopia. Not knowing where to begin I got to contact Nahome who arranged my 18day trip throughout the most prominent places in both the North and South of Ethiopia. And what a journey it was! Not only was he well prepared, but literally everything ran smoothly on my trip (very well-informed guides, airplanes, hotels).

Traveling alone I’ve always felt safe and taken care of in Ethiopia. Nahome remained accessible throughout the whole trip and always assisted when needed. (read: I twisted my food and forgot luggage)

Pleasure Ethiopia is extremely well organized but keeps a focus on the authentic culture of the country. They respect local standards and avoid misunderstandings between tourists and locals by setting strict rules when visiting protected areas.

This also means amazing food experiences and a wonderful mix between nature and historical cities. They hold all travel and tourist licenses, so you don’t have to worry for any inconveniences on the road.

Although very educated themselves, they always include your opinion in what you would like to visit and how fit you are for sometimes long hikes or drives. They will not hesitate to adjust the itinerary to your taste or health conditions.

I remember Nahome asked me what I would like to see, answering Ethiopia probably was not the easiest answer. But the result was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Thank you Nahome and Pleasure Ethiopia!
